The Direct Cremation includes:
- Collection of your loved one within a 20-mile radius day or night
- The personal and professional services of a funeral director, including attending to all necessary funeral arrangements, advice on the certification and registration of death, care and support as needed
- 24-hour funeral director telephone support and guidance
- Care of the deceased prior to cremation (embalming not included)
- A simple oak finish coffin, suitable for cremation, with fittings, and basic white gown
- A suitable vehicle to transfer to the crematorium at a date and time of our choosing
- Unattended cremation fee
- Cremation at a local crematorium
- Scattering of ashes in the garden of remembrance at the crematorium or the return of the ashes to the family within a 20-mile radius
Cost of Direct Cremation £1650.00
The above price excludes the following which can be added if required:
- Removal of pacemaker – £95.00
- Collection and delivery of ashes – within a 20-mile radius free of charge.
Additional mileage charged at £2.00 per mile - Scatter tube from £35.00
- Ashes casket from £75.00
- Additional mileage (above the 20-mile radius) – £2.00 per mile
Please note the following restrictions:
- The date, time and crematorium will be at the funeral director’s choosing
- No mourners are able to attend the cremation
- No extras other than those listed above can be added
- No use of the chapel of rest for viewing
A Direct Cremation requires payment in full no later than five working days prior to the funeral taking place.
